On My Way!

I'm in the departure lounge in Rochester getting ready to board flight to Newark.  Later this evening I get a flight to Munich and then on to Budapest in the morning.  I've already had a change in plans.  Got up this morning to an e-mail from the landlord of the apartment I rented for the week to say that a pipe had burst in the apartment above mine and it was now not suitable for occupancy.  That's the bad news.   The good news is he has a more luxurious apartment in a better area that he is going to rent me for the same price as the smaller one.  It's not available until Thursday so he is putting me up in a nearby hotel on Wednesday night and then meeting me there on Thursday to take me to the apartment.  So a little blip but seems like it may well work to my advantage.  And so far the weather is looking calm so here's hoping all goes on schedule and I arrive in Budapest tomorrow mid-afternoon.  Looking forward to hungarian pastries and hot springs!  Stay tuned....
